About Us

Mick Kornkven, Bob Hvinden, and Jonas McKenzie were born and raised in North Dakota, and had officially established DC Power Tong in October 2012. Known for their strong work ethic, dedication to their duties, and great integrity, DC Power Tong has grown to 24 team members and is continuing to expand. DC Power Tong provides superior casing services and to better serve our clients across the region, DC Power Tong has also recently started expanding into the production side of pressure testing by providing pressure test units. Over the years, DC Power Tong has grown to serve surrounding areas such as Watford City, Stanley, New Town, Killdeer, Crosby, and Sidney.

DC Power Tong is in the heart of the Bakken and has a strong mission to provide a safe and efficient service to our customers while maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. We accomplish this by focusing on the continual improvement of our safety management system. Our top priorities are always promoting employee safety, protecting the environment, and delivering quality work to our clients. We strive to treat each project as if it is our own, and that is the DC Power Tong way!
